
My Approach
My session offerings are somatically-focused using embodied practices and customized to the individual or small group. I'll guide you through techniques such as mindful movement and breathing, body awareness and focused meditative attention, all while creating a space where you can feel comfortable, safe and supported. Reiki, touch adjustments and aromatherapy can also be used upon request. This work is for anyone wanting to advance the mind, body and soul connection and heal from the inside out. No experience is necessary. Whether you are looking to reduce stress, enhance focus or simply cultivate a deeper sense of presence, I would love to partner with you on this journey of tailored mindfulness practices.
Somatics uses the connection between the mind and the body to help you bring awareness to your internal self and listen to signals in your body’s physiology to help regulate balance, stress, fatigue and trauma.

What is somatics?
Therapeutic yoga combines traditional yoga with embodied practices - movement (asana), breathwork (pranayama) and meditation to address individual needs, focusing on areas like chronic pain and illness, stress management and emotional healing. A therapeutic approach to yoga focuses on nervous system regulation and mindful movement to release tension and retrain habitual movement patterns.

SE is a body-oriented approach developed by Dr. Peter Levine to heal unregulated trauma and stress. It aims to resolve symptoms of stress, shock and trauma that accumulate in our bodies. When we are stuck in patterns of survival - fight, flight or freeze - SE helps us release, recover and become more resilient and restores a sense of ease and balance to the body and to life.
